VISION AND MISSION

Mission:

To promote the process of participatory development, carry out meaningful research, advocacy aimed to influence policies, strengthening of Civil Society Groups and to encourage voluntary organizations that are working for the poor, dalits and other deprived sections of Society.

Vision:

We strive for a well-informed Society with equal opportunities to all and unbiased against caste, creed or religion, with particular emphasis on Women Empowerment and upliftment of Dalit and Tribal communities.

Societal Vision - Clean governance everywhere: The emphasis in the societal vision statement is on the value of improving governance at all levels, which is emerging as the most critical factor in positively impacting the lives of the underprivileged, particularly women, the dalits, the tribals and the poorest of the poor.

Organisational Vision: “To become a benchmark organization with a progressive world-view, attaining excellence in promoting people-centered governance that impacts the quality of life of the underprivileged.” This organizational vision asserts the value of establishing Samarthan as a role model, demonstrating the values of quality as well as ethics to promote the cause of the underprivileged. Samarthan will not display dogmas, but rather transparently explore possibilities, in every new challenge offered by the external environment, through ongoing processes of in-depth analysis, and passionate engagement.
