Implementation of Citizen Monitoring and Tracking Pilot in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh

Region five Panchayats each of Sehore, Panna and Datia districts
Key Objectives
  • To develop mechanisms for enabling the community to provide feedback to the government on services provided by the government through an integrated software and campaign strategy
  • Increase the demand for services from Government and engage actively with Government bodies for effective closure of issues raised by Citizens
  • Integrate and strengthen Telesamadhan initiative of Government of Madhya Pradesh and increase its use in Sehore district
Key output
  • Demonstrated the Samadhan platform to the district officials. The online platform was appreciated by the district magistrate
  • Formally launched the online platform for the public to register grievances. Till now 550 SMS have been received from various villages in the district. 50 ‘JanSunwai’ applications have been fed into the online system
  • Awareness campaign launched in the three blocks of Sehore districts. 185 village Panchayats and 35 wards of Sehore town have been covered so far
