Samarthan Centre for Development Support is a nationally recognized and a prominent non-government organization. We are driven by our vision to promote participatory governance for equity and inclusion in development processes. Our initiatives cover urban and rural areas in the two major states of India- Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The urban initiatives focus on urban governance, participatory planning, performance monitoring of various urban services, community rights in slums, social security and migration. Rural interventions cover capacity building of local self governance functionaries, decentralized planning, National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Health, Child Rights, Water and Sanitation.
